As soon as I entered the first table in the collection (Fallout), I immediately realised I was going to adore all of these tables. The creativity and design incorporated into this table quickly established a link to the game’s universe, and I understood I was in for a delight with the other two tables. After that, I proceeded to explore the others and felt the same excitement; they have crafted these tables flawlessly for each game.

While playing each table, I found myself constantly switching my favourite among the three incredible options in this collection. Ultimately, I’ve chosen Doom as my top pick. The design of this table captivates me, and I think the scoring multipliers and special features are exceptionally inventive. That said, the other two tables are also remarkable in their own ways, which makes selecting a favourite quite challenging. I haven’t yet reached the high scores I aim for, but in the end, it all boils down to my abilities. Still, similar to the other tables, I am confident that with additional practice, I will eventually master them.
It’s important to note that the team has successfully captured the immersive elements surrounding the tables for each game. Whether it’s a dragon soaring in Skyrim, a mutant threatening in Fallout, or Doom Guy battling a Demon – these are all fantastic enhancements that contribute to the virtual reality experience of the game. Furthermore, every table is included in the spin wheel, enabling you to unlock customisation options for the Bethesda room and each of the tables.

Verdict
I was pleasantly surprised to see Zen Studios team up with Bethesda to create a new set of tables for Pinball FX VR. This collaboration is something I never anticipated, but I couldn’t be more thrilled about it. The team continues to enhance the already impressive collection, and the addition of these three tables inspired by Fallout, Doom, and Skyrim is a fantastic move. This set has quickly become one of my favourites, with each table standing out so much that I found myself constantly changing my mind about which one I liked best. They seamlessly connect to the universes of their respective games, and the immersive features beyond the table are ideal for virtual reality. Zen Studios’ dedication to expanding the VR version of the game is remarkable, and these three tables, priced at £11.99, are a fantastic addition.
